IN BOTANY, Papaya is defined as Carica Papaya and belongs to the Caricaceae Family. The name is of Aruaca and Caribbean origin although the fruit, half melon and half pear, is widespread in the tropics. The fruit has many names: in Cuba “fruta bomba”, in Brazil “mamao” and in Australia “paw paw”. ORIGIN Australian aborigines have known the healing powers of Papaya for centuries. Papaya is a key food in their diet. Great explorers like Cristoforo Colombo, Marco Polo, Vasco de Gama and Magellano, on their return from their expeditions reported on the use of Papaya among the populations they had met. In particular, Colombo had jotted down in his diary that papaya was taken after meals to prevent digestive problems and Marco Polo tested the effectiveness of Papaya against scorbutus. |
| VIVIDUS FERMENTED PAPAYA Thanks to the studies and experiments carried out in Australia an exclusive formulation has been developed based on the fermentation of papaya with green tea. This is the main characteristic that makes Vividus Fermented Papaya unique. It is a special food because it contains “Mature Green Papaya”, i.e. ripe but still green fruit. It is in this stage of ripening that papaya develops its maximum content of active ingredients and enzymes. Vividus Fermented Papaya contains whole “Mature Green Papaya” (i.e. pulp, peel, seeds and leaves) and Green Tea. All these ingredients have been well known for their beneficial properties for a long time. |
